Mohs micrographic surgery
We offer the advanced outpatient technique for removing skin cancer. This procedure removes skin cancer and as little normal tissue as possible. During this surgery, the physician removes the cancer and then uses a microscope to look at the cancerous area to make sure no cancer cells remain. This procedure boasts a 99 percent cure rate for certain types of skin cancer.
Photodynamic Therapy (PDT)
This treatment can improve a sun-damaged precancerous spot called an actinic keratosis (AK). PDT may also minimize pores, reduce oil glands and treat acne and rosacea. The skin will become softer and smoother with the reduction of sun-damaged cells.
